New Owners for White Horse Inn

Annette Rizza and Jim Hedberg will soon take over the New Lenox tavern.

A new liquor license has been approved for the White Horse Inn in New Lenox because the tavern soon will have new owners. Annette Rizza and Jim Hedberg purchased the business from Jim Potter and Liz Stack and they hope to take over by Sept. 1, reports Erin Gallagher for Sun-Times Media.

“My family comes from a long line of restaurants,” Rizza said. “I always wanted something that was very manageable.”

The New Lenox village board approved the license for Rizza and Hedberg earlier this month. Hedberg said he’d like the White Horse Inn, which offers lunch until 2 p.m. to serve food into the evening hours.
