NLFD Crews Training In Progress

NEW LENOX, IL. — New Lenox Fire District is notifying residents not to be alarmed by the presence of its crews at the old Walona Hotel. Crews are conducting training exercises and there is no danger to the public, NLFD said.

The Fire District posted on its Facebook page that residents may see smoke coming from the building. The smoke is water-based theatrical smoke and poses no harm.
