Park District Plans Barks And Brews, Dog Egg Hunt Event

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Community Park District will hold its 'Barks and Brews' and dog egg hunt event from noon to 2 p.m. April 11 at Firefighters Park. Dog owners can bring their furry friends along to the event, which will include dog-related vendors, raffles, and dog contests.

According to the park district, there will also be alcoholic drinks available for purchase during the event for human participants to enjoy.

The popular egg hunt for dogs will also return; dogs can sniff out eggs, which will be filled with dog treats. All dogs must be kept on a leash at the event, according to the park district.

You must register for the event by April 5.
