NEW LENOX, IL — One person was taken into custody Thursday after attempting to gain access to Lincoln-Way Central High School, Director of Community Relations Jennifer Hannon told Patch. This person had previously been issued a no-trespass letter for all Lincoln-Way properties.
Hannon said security procedures stopped the person from entering the building and office staff notified the Will County School Resource Officer who immediately placed the person in custody.
"Our thanks goes out to our clerical staff and the Will County Sherriff’s Department for their swift efforts to keep Lincoln-Way 210 a safe place," Hannon said.
