Aug. 25
- Someone spray painted graffiti on the playground equipment at Stonebridge Park.

- Andres Montes Garcia, 32, of Posen, was charged with DUI-alcohol, no valid driver's license and no valid insurance at 10:25 p.m. at Maple Street and I-80. According to police reports, a call came in about a reckless driver and the officer saw a car matching the description driving erratically. The officer conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver, Montes Garcia, and learned he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

- Someone entered an unlocked car two days earlier and stole a wallet at Hair Cuttery, 410 Nelson Road.

- Someone entered an unlocked car three days earlier and stole a wallet at Hair Cuttery, 410 Nelson Road.
Sept. 5
- A man stole $400 in over-the-counter medication from Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway.
- Tamara Fuhrman, 51, of New Lenox, was charged with theft at 5:48 p.m. at Murphy Oil gas station, 431 E. Lincoln Highway. According to police reports, the victim set down their purse, wallet and keys on the counter and used the restroom. When the victim exited, the items were gone. It was learned that Fuhrman, a customer at the station, stole the items.
Sept. 6
- A woman stole $300 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway.
Sept. 7
- Lorenzo Reese, 38, of Chicago, was charged with DUI-alcohol at 11:26 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Nelson. According to police reports, the officer saw Reese's car commit multiple traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop. The officer learned Reese was driving under the influence of alcohol.
