Rosati's New Lenox Looks To Expand To Full-Service Restaurant
As part of the expansion, the restaurant is asking for its Class D1 liquor license.
NEW LENOX, IL — Rosati's in New Lenox is planning to expand into a full-service sports pub, owner Shawna Casey said at Monday's village board meeting. The Village Board held a first read discussing an ordinance creating a Class D1 liquor license for the restaurant.
"We have the opportunity to expand into a full-service sports pub, which we're very excited to do," Casey told the board. Rosati's, 108 W. Illinois Highway, first opened in New Lenox as a carry-out location in 2012.
As part of the expansion, the restaurant is asking for its Class D1 liquor license.

Mayor Tim Baldermann said there were no issues with any background checks for the restaurant.
"[I'm] glad to see business is going well," he said.

Casey said the restaurant is looking to get permits soon for the expansion.
Typically, a second read will be on the agenda at the next board meeting. The board will vote on the ordinance on that date.
