Woman Charged With DUI After Striking Building In New Lenox: Cops

No one was injured in the accident, and the front of the store was damaged.

NEW LENOX, IL — A woman has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after striking a sign and a building on Monday in New Lenox, police told Patch.

Patricia Malloy, 55, of New Lenox, was driving a car which left the roadway, struck the sign for Burrito Loco and the Color It Painting and Decorating Center building at 308 W. Maple at 1:34 p.m. Monday, according to police.

No one was injured in the accident, and the front of the store was damaged. Malloy was taken into custody and taken to the New Lenox Police Department.
