The single most pressing issue facing the 3rd Congressional District and what I intend to do about it.
Student loans. I plan to end all interest rates on all student loans.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Because of the ever-rising cost of political campaigns, I dig into my own pockets to serve citizens of 3rd district. My fellow candidates raise PAC (political action committee) money to serve lobbyists and big business instead of citizens. For example Congressman Lipinski and Marie Newman, both ignored debate requests from the League of Women Voters.
As a challenger, in what way has the current Congressman Dan Lipinski failed the 3rd District.
Dan Lipinski has ignored some of the biggest opportunities to help the citizens of the 3rd District. He hasn't looked at view points from constituents who's have difference of opinion.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Health care. I want DCHeath Link for Americans and the 3rd District. It would expand plan options that would help citizens.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I was a precinct captain for Congressman Bill Lipinski. I would follow through a request for a constituent until it's complete to their satisfaction.
If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?
When citizens of 3rd District see positive change and realize they have a voice and true representation.
Why should voters trust you?
I’m just an average man who sees a person’s needs and wants to help.
What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the use of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?
I would implement projects to stimulate the economy while keeping in mind how hard taxpayers work to pay taxes, so I would give taxpayers a voice in projects.
Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?
No, I plan to serve full term.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I encourage transparent, accessible and citizen-focused government
