Advocate Health Experts Host Virtual Q&A On COVID-19 Vaccine
Health experts from Advocate Aurora will answer the public's questions on the COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday, Dec. 16, in virtual town hall.
OAK LAWN, IL — Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe? What are its long-term effects? How soon will it be available to the public?
Advocate Aurora Health invites patients, families and community members to a virtual town hall from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Attendees will get timely updates on the COVID-19 vaccine, and learn more about Advocate Aurora is managing distribution of the vaccine among its network of hospitals, including Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

This Q&A will be hosted by Advocate Aurora Health CEO, Jim Skogsbergh, who will be joined by experts:
- Dr. Robert Citronberg, executive medical director of infectious disease and prevention
- Jane Dus, Regional Chief Nursing Officer and co-leader of Advocate Aurora’s COVID vaccine strategy
The panel will talk vaccine safety and efficiency, debunk common myths and provide team members, patients and community members with more information on Advocate’s COVID-19 vaccine program. Questions can be submitted in advance by commenting here.
