Bank Inside Oak Lawn Jewel-Osco Robbed

OAK LAWN, IL — A TCF bank inside a Jewel-Osco in Oak Lawn was robbed Thursday morning.

A man robbed the bank in the 8800 block of Ridgeland Avenue, and fled the scene in an SUV driven by a woman, FBI spokesman Garrett Croon said. The robbery was non-takeover, Croon added.

The vehicle was last seen heading east on 87th Street. The suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 160 to 165 pounds. He was wearing a bright blue jacket with hooded sweatshirt and black winter mask.
