Bank Robbed in Oak Lawn
BREAKING: Robbery took place at a TCF Bank just before noon Thursday.
OAK LAWN, IL — A TCF Bank branch at 98th and Cicero in Oak Lawn was hit in a non-takeover robbery Thursday.
The FBI was en route to the location at 9801 S. Cicero Ave. around 12:45 p.m., the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-3, 250-pound, tall, stocky black male wearing a black hoodie, black-framed glasses and a skullcap. He's also believed to be responsible for a robbery Aug. 9 at US Bank, 8739 S. Harlem Ave. in Bridgeview; BMO Harris, 4050 W. 147th St. on Aug. 25; and U.S. Bank, 10270 Central Ave. in Oak Lawn on Sept. 17.
