Earlier this week the District 218 Board of Education honored coaches Kari Vanderjack and Brad Wright and the varsity boys bowling team for the best season in program history.
The Bulldogs won three invitationals, the South Suburban Conference Red Division championship, and first place at their IHSA Regional. Richards then took second place at sectionals to advance to state.
Finally, the Bulldogs took fifth place at the IHSA state finals, the best finish in team history -- highlighted by Danny LaBonte taking fourth place individually.
