Drive-Thru Food Drop Planned Wednesday For People And Pets
Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart and community groups will host a food drop Feb. 10 for people and pets at Our Lady of Loretto in Hometown.

HOMETOWN, IL — Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart is joining forces with Community Nutrition Network, Rescue Pack Chicago and Friendship Food Pantry in a drive-thru food distribution event for people and pets this Wednesday, Feb. 10, in Hometown. From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., people can drive up to Our Lady of Loretto (Our Lady at St. Germaine), 8925 S. Kostner Ave., Hometown.
Volunteers will be distributing food for people and their pets while supplies last. People may also drop off their unused meds and personal documents for shredding. This is a drive up event, so you don’t have to get out of your car. Facemasks and social distancing are mandatory. For more information, email ccsocommunityconnection@cookcountyil.gov.
