OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn’s annual fall frolic, canceled last year due to pandemic, is coming back in 2021. Fall On The Green has evolved into one of the largest and most popular outdoor fests in the Southland, traditionally falling on the first weekend after Labor Day in September. The 2021 edition falls on Sept. 10, Sept. 11 and Sept. 12, at 95th Street and Cook Avenue.

In addition to live music, the fest features a food tent featuring local restaurants, beverage tent, a craft tent, business tent, teen and children’s activities, trivia, bingo and more. The village arts and events commission is optimistic of a return to normalcy. Commissioners have been busy planing the fall festival and adding some flourishes for 2021. Art In The Yard featuring local artists will be held between the green and library, tentatively planned for Sept. 11.
