IL-03: Democrat Newman Endorsed By 14 Suburban Mayors
"I am truly honored to have the support of these selfless men and women who work hard to make their communities the best that they can be."

COUNTRYSIDE, IL — Throughout his eight terms as a congressman, Dan Lipinski built on his reputation as a problem-solver who got things done for the municipalities by flaunting the endorsements of dozens of suburban mayors from every corner of the 3rd Congressional District. "I am happy to endorse Marie Newman for Congress in Illinois’ 3rd District because I trust her to be a strong partner to myself and my colleagues here on the Southwest side,” Palos Hills Mayor Jerry Bennett said in a written statement. “Marie shares the same passion that I do for serving my constituents and I know that she will be an unwavering advocate for the hard-working people of Palos Hills and all of us in the 3rd District."

We need a strong advocate for working families in the 3rd Congressional District and that advocate is Marie Newman."
"I am truly honored to have the support of these selfless men and women who work hard to make their communities the best that they can be every day,” Democratic nominee Marie Newman said in a news release. “I look forward to working with each of them to address disrepair and inefficiency in our transportation systems and shared infrastructure, to support small businesses who have been hit hard by the pandemic, and to support the 3rdDistrict families who are struggling to afford their everyday lives."
