Lipinski Hosts Outdoor Senior Fair Tuesday At Viverito Center

BURBANK, IL — Congressman Dan Lipinski (IL-03) will host an outdoor senior fair at the Louis S. Viverito Senior Center Pavilion, 7745 S. Leamington Ave., Burbank. The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Free flu shots will be available and staff from Congressman Lipinski’s office will offer assistance with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans issues, voter information and other services. For everyone’s health safety, face masks and social distancing will be required.

“These are challenging times for seniors in the Third District and around the country,” the congressman said in a news release. “Seniors need to know that my staff and I are still here working to help them navigate federal issues like Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, and many others. While masks and social distancing will make this year’s Senior Fair look different from in years past, we will still be offering the same commitment to connect seniors with resources and help them navigate the sometimes-daunting federal bureaucracy.”

To reduce crowds and allow for proper health precautions, Rep. Lipinski is asking that seniors attend during specific time periods based on the first letter of their last name.
