Living Nativity Tradition Continues This Friday and Saturday
Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church hosts its famous living nativity with live animals Dec. 13 and Dec. 14 in Oak Lawn.

OAK LAWN, IL — Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold its famous living nativity with live animals Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14. There will be two stagings of the Christmas Story at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. each night. The living nativity is free.
The living nativity, which will take place in the church parking lot, is wheelchair accessible. Assistance is available for audience members with mobility concerns. All children are welcome to participate and costumes will be provided. It’s going to be cold, so bundle up.
After the performances, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Kids of all ages are invited to pet the animals. This is a beloved holiday tradition in the south suburbs. Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is located at 10400 S. Kostner Ave. in Oak Lawn.
