Lucky Burbank Resident Wins $1K Playing Newest Fast Play Game

BURBANK — Lucky Diana Sparr of Burbank, is one of the latest locals to cash in on the Illinois Lottery’s newest game Fast Play, winning $1,000 this week from playing Piggy Bank Bucks.

“I was really excited when I found out I won,” Sparr said. “I didn’t realize I’d won until I got home and the first person I told about the win was my daughter, who was with me when I bought the ticket.”

Sparr is a longtime lottery fan and this win has only grown her love of the games.

“I’ve been playing the Illinois Lottery for years. My favorite games to play are instants, and now, Piggy Bank Bucks,” she laughed.

This is not Sparr’s first time experiencing that winning feeling,

“Years ago, I also won $25,000 on a scratch-off ticket.”

The winning Fast Play ticket was purchased in her neighborhood at her local lucky retailer, 7-Eleven, located at 5560 W. 87th Street in Burbank, so add this store the list of lucky places to buy lotto tickets.
