Oak Lawn Community High School Offers 1-Day COVID Vaccine Clinic

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School will be offering a one-day only COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13. Vaccinations will be available to the public for anyone age 16 and older in the Spartan gum, 9400 Southwest Highway, Oak Lawn. Participants will be automatically scheduled for the second shot on June 3.

The high school is teaming up with Jewel-Osco Pharmacy, which will be administering the Pfizer vaccine. Bring your driver’s license or government issued ID, insurance card or Medicaid ID card. Participants will be required to sign a consent form. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Participants do NOT need to live in Oak Lawn to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

All Illinois residents 16 or older may register for the one-day clinic. The vaccine is FREE regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status. Schedule an appointment online. The time you select on May 13, will be the same appointment time you receive for the second dose on June 3. Please allow 45 minutes from start to finish for your appointment. Participants will have a 15-minute observation period after receiving the vaccine before they can leave campus.

Park in the main parking lot along 95th Street and Austin Avenue (enter at 9439 S. Austin Ave.) There will be additional parking in the student parking lot on the west side of Austin Avenue. Participants should enter through the event entrance of the building into the Spartan Lobby. The clinic may be extended depending on response and vaccine supplies.
