Oak Lawn Park District's Lawn Manor Park is Open
The newly renovated park is now open to the public

The Oak Lawn Park District will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Lawn Manor Park, 108th & Kostner Ave., on Monday, June 14th at 5:30pm.
Renovations include: a new playground, tot structure, musical chimes, 75’ zip line, and large shelter area that features a “live roof” with trays of plant material on the lower roof terrace. Additional amenities include a spray pad, sand volleyball court, walking paths, two basketball courts (half court each), two tennis courts, pickleball court, and site lighting. Both baseball fields received new benches, fencing, and concrete dug-outs.
Lawn Manor Park also features a brand new Fitness Court® from the National Fitness Campaign. The Fitness Court® is a state-of-the-art, digitally connected platform for adults of all ages and abilities to develop healthy habits and maintain long-term wellness. Patrons can access a workout library and engage with other fitness court users around the country via a smart phone app.

Patrons are invited to enjoy the new park amenities and participate in recreational contests and a Fitness Court tutorial that will take place after the ribbon cutting.
GO OAK LAWN t-shirts will be available for pick-up by participants enrolled in the free GO OAK LAWN program. Patrons can also register for GO OAK LAWN, a wellness movement designed to increase community health through activity, education, and collaboration.

Renovations were made possible from a $400,000 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) along with a $30,000 National Fitness Campaign Grant.
