Renovated Lawn Manor Park Unveiled In Oak Lawn
The Oak Lawn Park District unveiled the new Lawn Manor Park featuring a zip line, shelter with "live roof," sand volleyball and more.

OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Park District held a ribbon cutting ceremony June 14 for the newly renovated Lawn Manor Park, 108th Street and Kostner Avenue. Patrons enjoyed the new park amenities, participated in a four-square contest, and watched a Fitness Court® tutorial that took place after the ribbon cutting.
Renovations included: a new playground, tot structure, musical chimes, 75-foot zip line, and large shelter area that features a “live roof” with trays of plant material on the lower roof terrace. Additional amenities include a spray pad, sand volleyball court, walking paths, two basketball courts (half court each), two tennis courts, pickleball court, and site lighting. Both baseball fields received new benches, fencing, and concrete dug-outs.
Lawn Manor Park also features a brand new Fitness Court® from the National Fitness Campaign. The Fitness Court® is a state-of-the-art, digitally connected platform for adults of all ages and abilities to develop healthy habits and maintain long-term wellness. Patrons can access a workout library and engage with other fitness court users around the country via a smart phone app.
