U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-03) is the featured keynote speaker, marking his final Veterans Day appearance as a congressman. Oak Lawn’s ceremony is Lipinski’s only scheduled event, who would typically attend up to six Veterans Day observances throughout the district.

Last year’s cold, blustery weather forced the ceremony to be moved indoors. Wednesday’s observances will be held outdoors due to the pandemic. Everyone attending is asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
