OLCHS Seniors Earn Spring Sports Awards
In a topsy-turvy year, Oak Lawn Community High School handed out spring sports awards for football, girls volleyball and boys soccer.

OAK LAWN, IL — Although these sports are traditionally played in the fall, this unprecedented year caused a ton of changes and oddities. As a result, football, girls volleyball and boys soccer competed in Illinois High School Association action during the spring. Oak Lawn Community High School recently had its Awards Night to honor these standout athletes.
In Football, there were six All-South Suburban Conference Red selections including Alexander Murray (Offensive Line/Defensive Line), Jacklin Grey (Wide Receiver), Rodney Washington (Wide Receiver), Ryan Kennelly (Offensive Line/Defensive Line), Nicco Reyes (Running Back), and Adam Alcantar (Wide Receiver). Kennelly was chosen as the team’s Most Valuable Player, and Luis Washack earned the Sportsmanship Award.
In Girls Volleyball, Fey Rangel made the all-conference team as a libero. She was also selected as the team’s MVP along with Gabriella Sadowski. The Sportsmanship Award went to Arianna Andersen.
