Over 125 marched in Palos Hills for another BLM march today.

It was 95 degrees, with very high humidity, but a very diverse crowd came out to march.

This march was one of several organized by Chicago Beyond the Borders, which is a youth led and created group which is marching in majority white towns to spread the message of BLM.

It is a message of racial inclusion, and a message that reminds us that even after electing, and re-electing a black President, racism remains a powerful force. And that racism manifests itself in how black lives are sometimes treated by the police.

There were a few loud counter protesters, but in spite of their noise, they were ignored.

I was proud to march with them, and will do so whenever I can.
