The Polar Express Comes To Oak Lawn High School

To celebrate Family Reading Night, the Media Center is hosting the Polar Express @ OLCHS on December 12, 5:00-7:00 p.m. This free event is open to all ages.

The Polar Express, written and illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg, is a Caldecott Medal winning book about a boy who travels on a mysterious train to the North Pole. There is also an iconic 2004 movie by the same title.

The Media Center's community event will feature crafts, activity stations, treats, prizes, and, of course, yummy hot chocolate. Santa is even expected to stop by for a brief visit!
