Restaurants and Bars With Outdoor Seating In Oak Lawn

OAK LAWN, IL — A little bit of normal returns on Friday, May 29, as restaurants and bars will be allowed to open outdoor seating areas for customers. Restaurants and bars have been closed since March 16 to dine-in customers, and many had to adapt or change operations completely so that they could continue to serve food via pick-up or carry-out services.

As the state of Illinois enters Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan on Friday, restaurants all over the state are adjusting once again as they prepare to open outdoor seating areas for customers.

Before you run out to dinner, make a reservation. You may want to bring a face mask with in case you have to run inside the building to use the restroom.

Patch has compiled a list of the known restaurants or bars who are now offering outdoor seating in Oak Lawn and the surrounding area. Please note that many restaurants which are not able to offer outdoor seating are still continuing pick-up services and carry-out for customers.

Other Oak Lawn restaurants and bars are submitting plans to the village for adding temporary outdoor seating in parking lots and tents. We'll their information as soon as it becomes available. The village board also unanimously approved a resolution approving a temporary outdoor dining and drinking policy.
