Slice Factory Grand Opening Offers Free Jumbo Slice To First 100
The first 100 cars in line will receive a free jumbo pizza slice this Saturday, Dec. 12, at Slice Factory's grand opening in Burbank.
BURBANK, IL – Slice Factory, admired for serving its jumbo slices in the suburbs from Elmwood Park to Evergreen Park, and in city neighborhoods from Pilsen to Archer Heights, will hold a grand opening for its ninth location at 7141 W. 79th St. this Saturday, Dec. 12.
The first 100 customers in line when the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. will receive a free jumbo slice of pizza. To ensure COVID-19 protocols are taken into account, this offer will only be valid though the Slice-Thru, the restaurant’s innovative drive through a block east of Harlem Avenue on 79th Street.
Second-generation pizzeria owner Dominick DiDiana claims his jumbo slices are the biggest in Chicagoland. Each pie is 28-inches in circumference from which ten slices are cut, making an individual slice 14 -inches long.

Slice Factory offers ten varieties of jumbo slices, including cheese, sausage, pepperoni, margherita, veggie, meat lover's, factory special, tropical BBQ chicken, BBQ pulled pork and Mexican-style pizza topped with chorizo, refried beans, onion and jalapeño peppers. Prices range from $4.99 to $5.99 per slice.

When the 100 free slices are given away, $1 of every slice sold for the rest of the day on Saturday will be donated to The BCA Hub Youth & Resource Center, a non-profit organization, which offers programs to help Burbank youth become inspired and develop their talents at little or no cost to their families.
