Something For Everyone At Chapel Hill's Family Fall Festival

OAK LAWN, IL -- There’s something for everyone this Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Family Fall Festival at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home and Cemetery in Oak Lawn. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free, but tickets can be purchased for the attractions. Every child gets a free hot dog, juice and bag of popcorn.

The fall festival features hayrides, a pumpkin patch, ponies, petting zoo, craft show, bake sale, food, raffles and face painting. Chapel Hill will be raffling off gift cards from local businesses, including Palermos, Cooper’s Hawk, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Noral Jewelers, Golden Shoes, Capris, Simple Test, Diggity Dogs, Breakfast Club, Jenny’s. Papa Joe’s, Oak Lawn Florist and a number of other gifts.

Over 20 crafters and vendors will be selling their wares and services inside the funeral chapel, including Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay, Laurie’s Creations, Lynne Dutton Designs, Pampered Chef, Thirty One, Party Lites, Olivaceto Oils and Vinegars, Posh, Tupperware, Jenna and Yoga, and Art Clay World.

Raffle tickets can be purchased in increments of 1, 6 ($5) , 12 ($10,) 18 ($15) and 25 ($20). All proceeds will benefit Park Lawn Services, which promotes independence, dignity and access to community living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
