South Suburban Fish Fry Roundup for Lent 2020

UPDATE (March 12, 2020): In accordance with Gov. J.B. Pritzker's "social distancing" guidelines related to the coronovirus pandemic, we have received word from some organizations that they are postponing the remainder of their Friday night fish fries. We advise that you call ahead to make sure the event is still being held. We will do our best to update the list with cancellations. Parishes and other groups can email Lorraine Swanson, lorraine.swanson@patch.com with any changes to their events.

Hey, all you Friday-Night-Lenten-Fish-Fry hoppers. Lent has officially begun, and Patch has reeled in a catch of nearby fish fry events. Parishes

St. Christina (Chicago/Mt. Greenwood)

• St. Albert claims their fish fry is the best in town.
• It will be every Friday in Lent from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the church basement. Alaskan Cod and Jumbo Shrimp will highlight the reasonably priced menu, along with lasagna, pasta and kids dinner. St. Catherine of Alexandria (Oak Lawn)
