St. Nicholas Greek Fest Goes Express Father's Day Weekend
"Greek Fest: The Drive-Thru" gets underway June 19 and June 20 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church featuring authentic Greek cuisine.
OAK LAWN, IL — For the second year in a row, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church’s popular Greek Fest will be drive-thru in 2021. While we’ll miss the dancing, games, music and tours of the church’s beautiful cathedral, authentic Greek cuisine will be available for pick-up on June 19 and June 20.
St. Nick’s Ladies Philoptochos Society will be making their famous baklava, featured on WGN's "Chicago's Best," and other Greek delicacies, including galaktoboureko and bags of kourambiedes, melomakarona and koulourankia.
Drive-thru festgoers can enjoy tasty plates of gyros, pastisto , Greek salad and spanikopita, as well as the BEST Greek chicken in town.

St. Nick’s will also be raffling off cash prizes. A limited number of tickets are available for $100 each for a grand prize of $5,000; with second prize of $2,500 and a $1,500 third prize.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 19, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 20, which also happens to be Father’s Day. Pick up lunch and head to a park and celebrate your dad with a fabulous Greek meal.
