Video Released Of Moments After Fatal Cicero Avenue Hit-And-Run

Burbank police say video shows driver and passenger getting out of a silver car and walking around two injured pedestrians on Cicero Avenue.

BURBANK, IL — Burbank police released redacted video showing the moments after two pedestrians were struck by a silver-colored car crossing Cicero Avenue. The video blocks out images of the pedestrians lying on the street. One of the pedestrians has died.

Around 11 p.m. June 10, the man and women were crossing Cicero Avenue when they were stuck by the silver-colored car, police said. Witnesses told officers that the driver and passenger in the silver car got out momentarily before getting back into the vehicle and driving off.

The video shows two men getting out of the car who appear to walk around the injured pedestrians before getting back into the silver-colored car and continuing driving south on Cicero Avenue.

Both pedestrians were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Nanette Therese Hillock, 54, of Chicago, succumbed to her injuries. A 57-year-old as taken to the hospital in stable condition.
