Annual Dianne Masters Cup Golf Outing Coming To Silver Lake
The event will take place on Aug. 10 at the Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park. Proceeds go to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia.
ORLAND PARK, IL — The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is hosting the annual Dianne Masters Cup Charity Golf Outing again this year, slated to take place on Aug. 10, according to a news release.
The Crisis Center is a local non-profit that serves the Southland community by offering free shelter, housing, counseling and aid to victims of domestic violence and their children.
The event will take place at the Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park, and is supported by Title Sponsor, Action Sertoma Club, according to the release.

Those wishing to participate can go to DMCgolf2021.givesmart.com to register, purchase a sponsorship or donate. There will also be an online auction and raffles closer to the event date, and can be monitored by signing up for email alerts regarding the event, and checking out the center's Facebook page (@CrisisCenterforSouthSuburbia).
According to the release, a new tradition that the Crisis Center has introduced to supporters is the Fairway Champion Challenge. The champion is someone who hosts their own fundraiser to for victims of domestic violence and their children through the DMCgolf2021.givesmart.com event website. To do this, just click the “Become a Fairway Champion” button and sign up.

Also new this year, community members can vote for their favorite Fairway Champion, the release states. The fundraiser with the most votes and total funds raised through their fundraising challenge will be crowned 2021's Fairway Champion Winner.
"Voting is simple. All you need to do is donate $10 to the Fairway Champion fundraiser of your choice. Every $10 donation will count as one vote," the release states. "Whether you are voting for your Fairway Champion winner, funding a need on the website, or golfing on August 10th, this event supports an incredible organization with the utmost dedication to providing victims of domestic violence with the best possible care."
