Missing Boy, 3, Found Safe In Woods: Orland PD
The boy had been reported missing from a home near Turtlehead Lake Preserve. Drones and bloodhounds were deployed in the search.

ORLAND PARK, IL ? A 3-year-old boy reported missing from an Orland Park home near a forest preserve Saturday morning was found safe in the woods just an hour later, Orland Park police said Monday.
Family reported the boy missing from the home adjacent to Turtlehead Lake Preserve at Harlem Avenue near 135th Street, just after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Orland Park Police deployed drones and bloodhounds, in addition to police searching on foot. Forest Preserves of Cook County Police provided support, and an Orland Fire Protection District dive team was on standby.

The boy was found unharmed, just after 12 p.m., by police on foot in the woods. Police did not provide any further information.
Turtlehead Lake Preserve is an 18-acre site including Turtlehead Lake, Turtlehead Pond and West Pond.
