Chicago Man Out On Bond Arrested Again For Dealing Heroin: Police
He was arrested with his girlfriend on Thursday in Blue Island, according to police.
ORLAND PARK, IL — A couple was arrested in Blue Island Thursday after Orland Park Police say they were found with nearly 100 grams of heroin and over $2,000 in cash.
Police said Dexter Diggins, 33, of Chicago, was arrested on narcotics-related charges stemming from a joint investigation between Orland Park, Midlothian Police and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms (ATF). In January, police said Diggins was out on bond and dealing heroin again.
According to police, an investigation led officials to find Diggins was operating in Blue Island.

On March 4, Orland police said they, along with the ATF and Midlothian Police Department, obtained a search warrant for 12237 Washington Ave. in Blue Island. Diggins and his girlfriend, Ashley Franklin, 32, of Blue Island, were taken into custody.
According to police, Diggins was charged with the possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Franklin, facing the same charges, was also charged with endangering the life and health of a child, police said.

On Friday, police said Diggins and Franklin were taken to Bridgeview Courthouse, and Judge O’Garek set a bond at $50,000 for Diggins, and $25,000 for Franklin.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
