Climate Change Focus Of Orland LOWV Talk Saturday

League of Women Voters is hosting a climate change talk with scientist Albert Wagner in Palos Park Saturday.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Would you like to hear about climate change from a distinguished scientist who has been recognized as an international expert on carbon dioxide? The League of Women Voters of the Palos Orland Area will be sponsoring such a speaker in September.

Albert Wagner, an Emeritus Distinguished Scientist and International Expert on carbon dioxide, will address how our behavior is impacting the world we live in.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

The event will take place at 9: 20 a.m., Sat., Sept. 14, at Peace Village, 10300 Village Circle Drive in Palos Park.

The League of Women Voters of the Palos Orland Area is a non-partisan organization which includes members in approximately fifteen south suburbs, including Palos Heights, Palos Park, Palos Hills, Orland Park, Evergreen Park, Worth, Hickory Hills, Homer Glen, Oak Lawn, Mokena, Lemont, Lockport, Tinley Park, Frankfort and New Lenox.
