Elderly Driver Loses Control, Strikes Tree and Brick Wall

ORLAND PARK, IL — An elderly driver was able to walk herself to an ambulance after she hopped a curb and drove her car over a small tree and into a brick wall Sunday morning in Orland Park.

The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. near 145th and John Humphrey Drive. The woman was heading southbound on John Humphrey Drive when she lost control and veered off the road.

The driver appeared to be in good condition. She was transported to Palos Community Hospital.
