The man grabbed purses from two women in two separate instances Thursday, police said.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A Frankfort man faces a robbery charge after police say he snatched a woman's purse as she was loading groceries into her car in a Jewel parking lot on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Vincent Frighetto, 24, of the 22200 block of Clary Sage Drive in Frankfort, allegedly grabbed the woman's purse off her shoulder, from inside his car that he had pulled up alongside her in the parking lot at 9350 159th St. He then clipped a car next to the victim as he fled the scene. He was not armed, though it was previously thought that he was.
Orland Park police then learned that a suspect driving the same green Dodge Intrepid had minutes earlier stolen another woman's purse in the parking lot of a nearby Walmart, police said in a release. A store ran down the suspect and recovered the victim's purse. The employee also noted the license plate for the Intrepid and relayed the information to Orland Park officers. With the assistance of the Frankfort Police Department, Vincent Frighetto was identified as a possible suspect.
