Orland Park Police Warn of String of Burglaries

Three burglaries and two attempts have taken place since April 1.

Orland Park police are urging residents to be vigilant following a string of residential burglaries this month.

Three burglaries have occurred since April 1, all in the Village Square subdivision area. Two attempts were also reported to the police. All of the burglaries occurred in an area bordered by Regent Drive to the east, 94th Avenue to the west, 151st Street to the north and Wheeler Drive to the south. Some of the burglaries are known to have occurred between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. In the majority of cases, force was used to gain access through the front door.

The Orland Park Police Department is requesting that anyone who can provide information with identifying potential suspects call the police at (708) 349-4111. Contact the police immediately upon observing unusual activity.
