Orland Park Woman Charged With Aggravated DUI After July 4 Accident That Killed Tinley Park Man
The accident occurred at 10:19 p.m. Sunday on Wolf Road just south of 195th Street in Mokena.

MOKENA, Ill. — An Orland Park woman was charged with aggravated driving under the influence in connection to a vehicular accident that resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man from Tinley Park.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:19 p.m. Sunday, July 4, on Wolf Road just south of 195th Street in Mokena, according to a press release issued by the Mokena Police Department.

Mokena police allege that a vehicle being driven by Jansen A. Ardiente, 27, of the 8000 block of Braeburn Lane in Orland Park, “apparently rear-ended [the victim’s] motorcycle while they were both traveling northbound [on] Wolf Road.” The victim was brought to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox but was pronounced dead at 10:51 p.m. with “the cause of death apparently being multiple skull fractures and associated trauma,” according to the press release.
The traffic crash investigation is ongoing and being “reconstructed by the Lincoln-Way Major Crash Investigation Unit,” per the release.
