'Ghost Gun,' $18K Cash On Man Arrested Near Orland Mall: Police
Police said a backpack with $18,520 in cash and a fully loaded Polymer 80 Glock "ghost gun" were found in the 19-year-old's car.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A Markham man was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of cannabis and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after Orland Park police said they received a call of reckless driving near Orland Square Mall.
According to police, Dontae Woods, 19, was driving recklessly in the Orland Square area on Friday, prompting a call to police. When officers arrived in the area, they were able to find and pull Woods over. This is when police said the officer who stopped Woods smelled cannabis, and Woods admitted to smoking it before going in the mall.
The officer searched Woods and his car, finding three wrapped bags of cannabis, not from a legal dispensary, police said. The officer also found a backpack with $18,520 in cash and a fully loaded Polymer 80 Glock “ghost gun” that had been built with aftermarket components and no serial number. Police said Woods does not have an Illinois firearm owners ID card or concealed carry license, which lead to an arrest.
