Orland Township Partnership with Jewel Osco Continues
More area seniors to receive COVID-19 vaccine

Another group of local seniors will be receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, thanks to the partnership between Orland Township and Jewel-Osco pharmacy, according to the office of Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.
Orland Township has contacted over 200 seniors and registered them to receive their first COVID-19 vaccine on March 25 at the Township office. Seniors contacted were called in the order in which they had previously signed up on the Township’s website, orlandtownship.org. Jewel-Osco pharmacists will administer the vaccines to the residents when they arrive at the Township office.
“Orland Township is proud to continue this important partnership with Jewel-Osco to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to our seniors,” Supervisor O’Grady said. “Orland Township is committed to their health and welfare.”

By mid-April, nearly 750 local seniors will have received both vaccines through the Orland Township-Jewel Osco partnership.
