Orland Township and Village of Tinley Park Shred-A-Thon a Success
The event hosted by Orland Township Supervisor Paul O?Grady and Village of Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz attracted over 150 residents.

ORLAND PARK, IL ? On Saturday, July 18, Orland Township Supervisor Paul O?Grady co-hosted a community Shred-A-Thon for residents with the Village of Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz. The free shredding event was for Orland Township and Village of Tinley Park residents who wanted to safely dispose of unwanted personal documents.
ProShred trucks were located at the 80th Ave. Train Station where all paper shredding was free. Residents were limited to five banker boxes for secure destruction, and onsite staff assisted by removing the boxes from the trunk of attendee?s vehicles to be dumped into the shredder.
With assistance from staff and elected officials, which included Tinley Park Village Board Clerk Nancy O'Connor and Trustee William Brady alongside Supervisor O?Grady and Mayor Glotz, over 150 members of the community were able to take advantage of the opportunity.
