ORLAND HILLS, IL — Multiple agencies are reportedly now involved in the search for a suspect in two strong-arm robberies Thursday afternoon.

The suspect–described only as a white male—allegedly tried to take a woman's purse in the parking lot of Walmart, 9200 w. 159th. St., before fleeing the scene in a vehicle, according to police scanner reports. The vehicle was reportedly then involved in a hit-and-run, and it is believed the man might also be tied to a similar robbery attempt at a Jewel grocery store nearby, reports Northern Illinois FireGround Photos.
