Ravinia Avenue Road Construction To Cause Delays In Orland Park

The village urges drivers to find an alternative route for the next two weeks, avoiding the 151st Street and Ravinia Avenue area.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Expect delays when driving through certain streets in Orland Park beginning Tuesday, as road work is anticipated to limit traffic flow.

For about two weeks, road reconstruction will take place at the northeast section of the 151st Street and Ravinia Avenue, according to the village. During this time, drivers will be able to travel through the intersection and make right and left turns, with a single lane in each direction conveying traffic, the village said.

Some nearby locations in the construction zone include the Orland Park Police Department, Orland Fire Protection District and Ravinia Plaza Shopping Mall. The village urges drivers to seek alternative routes in an effort to avoid any delays.
