Residents Invited to 'Shop for a Cause' as Fundraiser for Orland Park History Museum
Shop at Macy's August 26–28 to help out the museum.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Macy's patrons will be able to "Shop for a Cause" on August 26–28 during regular store hours to benefit the Village of Orland Park History Museum.
Customers can purchase a savings pass beforehand for $5, the proceeds of which will benefit the museum.
The passes will also make customers eligible for discounts throughout the store on all three days of the event. Prices with a savings pass will reduce by 25 percent for regular, sale and clearance purchases made on all three of the sale days. A 10 percent discount will also apply to electronics, watches, furniture, mattresses and rugs/floor coverings.

Savings passes are for sale at the museum and will be available at the museum's booth at the Orland Park Chamber Fine Art Fair on July 16-17 at Orland Park Crossing, 14225 95th Avenue and at the Taste of Orland Park August 5-7. The Orland Park History Museum, which opened to the public this past April, aims to educate citizens about the village's history since its beginnings through artifacts, articles, and photographs. Located at 14415 Beacon Avenue, the Museum is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 am. To 1 p.m. and on the second Sunday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
