ORLAND PARK, IL — Residents at Smith Crossing in Orland Park are having an Olympics competition in anticipation of the games starting this July. This week, Patch will be sharing the "photo of the day" provided by Smith Crossing.

Monday

Residents at Smith Crossing begin a full week of Olympic-inspired competitions—from volleyball to discus and hammer throwing as well as shuffleboard to archery and javelin—that provide a great mix of favorite and untried sports at the Orland Park continuing care retirement community.

The games offer a way to have fun, while getting in step with health and fitness regimes. This campus-wide event celebrates Smith Crossing’s reopening as COVID-19 restrictions ease, and get ready for the Tokyo Olympics.
