ORLAND PARK, IL — The games are almost complete! Residents at Smith Crossing in Orland Park are having an Olympics competition in anticipation of the games, which will kick off next month. This week, Patch will be sharing the "photo of the day" provided by Smith Crossing.

Thursday

Residents at Smith Crossing faced off against the staff in an Olympic-inspired chair volleyball competition. It was a close contest, with the staff winning one game and the residents taking one as well. The staff had to return to their work duties, so they will schedule the tiebreaker another day.

The games offer a way have fun while getting in step with health and fitness regimes. This campus-wide event celebrates Smith Crossing’s reopening as COVID-19 restrictions ease, and get ready for the Tokyo Olympics.
