Target also recently announced that starting this Sunday, Dec. 11, Target stores across the country will begin to receive dozens of Hatchimals ($59.99), with inventory popping up throughout the week. You'll have to check your local stores to see if they're among those receiving more of the popular toy.

Hatchimals run between $60 and $70, but people are using the toy's hit status as a way to make a quick buck, re-selling the little guys for much more on eBay.

More of the toys are expected to be produced in the coming months.

"While additional product will hit retail shelves in December, we anticipate this inventory will also sell out quickly,” the company said on its website. “We have increased production and a whole new batch of Hatchimals will be ready to hatch in early 2017. “
