SHOREWOOD, IL — Over the past several weeks, motorists traveling west of Route 59 between Black Road and River Road have noticed the construction of a new building in the distance.

Is it going to be a new restaurant? No.

Is it going to be another Amazon plant? Nope, it's not that either.

It's going to be a new indoor sports facility.

The steel beams are for the new Rhino Baseball indoor facility at 301 Gregory Court in Shorewood. The 50,000-square-foot facility, designed and built by Professional Building Services, will include a major league-sized clear span infield, a 60-yard dash track, long toss area, 6 full length batting cages, a weight room, and a classroom.
