Shorewood Police Name New Deputy Chief, New Commander, New Sergeant, 3 New Officers
The announcements came at Tuesday night's Shorewood village board meeting.

SHOREWOOD, IL ? Following the recent departure of long-time deputy chief Eric Allen to take over as the Braidwood Police Department chief, the Shorewood Police Department has made several personnel changes.
In addition to losing Allen, Officer Daniel Koopmann has retired.

Brian Paulsen has been promoted to deputy chief of patrol, he will serve alongside deputy chief Jason Barten, who oversees criminal investigations. Phil Arnold, the former Wilmington police chief, remains the Shorewood chief and head of the entire department.
Danielle Malone has been promoted from sergeant to commander.

Alan Criscione has been promoted to sergeant.
The three new officers hired at Shorewood are: Mike Harker, Tommy Kargas and Carter Colhardt.
